ABOUT US
Durham University East Asian Research Society (DUEAS; officially Durham University East Asian Economics, Social and Political Research Society) was founded in 2017 by a group of passionate Business students.
In this highly connected world, the founders wanted to go beyond what were taught in class, and explored new possibilities and innovation through deepening their understandings of the business world by other perspectives - This was how we started.
As a result, we want to involve hard-working talents from different backgrounds. We believe that bringing diversity together is the way to create synergy. Other than fulfilling our personal interest in discussing economics, sociology and politics, we regularly publish articles and organize events to share our research outcome to the whole Durham community. We invite you to browse our site, participate in our activities and share your thoughts with us!
We are looking for committed members to be a part of our research group. We run regular research meetings and write articles to share our researched outcomes! Express your interest by sending an email to info.dueas@gmail.com
Note: DUEAS is a Durham SU student group whose details are: Durham Students’ Union (also known as Durham SU or DSU) is a charity registered in England and Wales (1145400) and a company limited by guarantee (07689815), and its principal address is Dunelm House, New Elvet, DURHAM, County Durham, DH1 3AN.
